My name is Rajinder Sodhi. I was originally born in Singapore, but grew up in Reno, NV, just east of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. I am now centered in the farmlands of the University of Illinois, just south of Chicago, working on my PhD in computer science.

In my research, I tinker with new sensing and display techniques using gadgets like cameras and projectors to make our interactions with computers feel more natural. That means I get to create and play with new technologies that help push the boundaries of how we use computers.

In my spare time, I like to train for triathlons and marathons. I have played the cello for several years now and more lately, the guitar. During the winters, I try to escape the midwest to snowboard in the Sierras. When I can, I travel. I'm always trying to do something fun.
