I am an M.S. candidate in Computer Science at the University of Illinois. My research interests fall under the umbrella of Human-Computer Interaction, Spatially Augmented Reality, Social Computing, and Ubiquitous Computing. In general, my goals are to help deepen and enrich people's lives by leveraging and developing novel uses of interactive technology. My advisor is Brian Bailey, and I am a member of his ORCHID group.

In my free time, I like listening to music of any kind, spending time outdoors, watching a good NASCAR race, and most of all, I enjoy the company of my family and friends. I have played the cello for nearly ten years now, but only started taking lessons when I began college. Master cellist John Lenz was my instructor for two years at the University of Nevada and I have continued taking lessons here at UIUC. Although I was born in Singapore, where I have more aunts, uncles, and cousins than I can count, Reno, NV is my home and is where I grew up. I thought coming to Urbana-Champaign would be a nice change of scenery to Reno, however, I quickly realized that flat corn fields were not an even exchange for Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada mountains.
